The Princess Diaries

When I was around 8 years old (in 2002), if I’m not mistaken, my parents were often away for work, and my grandmother took care of me. My sister and I grew up with Disney Channel, and our favorite thing was to sit in front of the TV every Saturday at 7 p.m. for the classic cartoons and movies. That was when I first watched The Princess Diaries and learned about this charming and beautiful place—San Francisco. The Princess Diaries became one of my sister’s and my favorite movies, and that’s when I fell in love with Anne Hathaway.

Now, I have the opportunity to be in San Francisco, and I’ve decided to visit every scene and capture them on film. As I walk between each location, I listen to the movie’s soundtrack through my headphones, and my mind is not just filled with the movie’s story but also many happy childhood memories with my sister. I think this is the reason I wanted to make this journey to record it and share it with her.
